Night terrors and nightmares have cost my family many hours of sleep and I know we are not alone. Most young kids are scared of the dark, scared of what is hiding in their closet or under the bed. I have heard of parents pretending to "shoo" the monsters away but now we have a more concrete and soothing way to help our kids calm their fears before bedtime. A new company called Bravery in a Bottle was created by a stay-at-home mom who came up with a collection of children's aroma-therapeutic sprays. The Monster Vapor, which I got a sample to try, smells quite nice and has a cute, engaging logo. I enjoyed reading the story printed on the attached card to my kids. They definitely appreciate the extra "protection" the Monster Vapor provides and have asked to use it again and again.
The other sprays include Storm Squasher©, Courage Concoction© and Feeling Campy©. (Coming soon- Monster Vapor plush and Monster Vapor Organic Cotton mascots.)
Each spray is a specific blend of essential oils that are often used to treat sores muscles, to alleviate respiratory problems, as relief for sunburns - and of course to sooth nerves! Because essential oils also have antiseptic properties, they make great household disinfectants and hand sanitizers too!
