Now that my son has recently turned two, I find myself thinking a lot about what this year will have in store for him as well as reminiscing on how much he has grown and progressed. He is doing things that we as adults take for granted but for omeone discovering his world it's new and interesting. I didn't do the baby book that documented all his accomplishments, which I am now kicking myself for by the way, but have just come across a way to start documenting his accomplishments from this point forward.....a resume! I realize the thought of a resume seems a bit off, I mean those are meant to be for job interviews right?! Not anymore.

Resumes for Children-17 Years Old and Under is a guide designed to help you document all of your child's accomplishments, created by Donna Kristine Manley. Why document these things you ask? This a great way to show your child how much they have grown over the years, how much and what they have learned, what kinds of activities they participated in and having written down proof of the praises they have received from teachers and parents. Having a resume created for your child will give them a visual presentation of their accomplishments which in turn will help them "continue" their growth and make them want to add more to it. Having this done will also help have you prepared if you are ever asked from schools, competitions, organizations or internships as to what you child can do and have written proof for their accomplishments.

This guide is a great workbook where you will find various samples of resumes for the type of child you have, artist, craftsman, young reader, etc. Plus you have sample cover letters for seeking sponsers, a sample reference page and pages for you to take notes.
This guide has been voted by RadicalParenting.com as one of the 50 Best Parenting Books for Families with Teens and Tweens, and a Mom's Choice Awards® Gold Recipient under Young Adults category as well as an Eric Hoffer Award Finalist.
