Music is a big part of my life. I have to have it constantly on playing in the background of anything I am doing. My taste in music varies from pop to classic rock to musicals. I find it very hard to listen to modern music because it all sounds the same to me with no originality or meaning to it. I also enjoy how certain music can transport you to a different time or place, depending on what you are listening to, just like a good story will.

The new CD out called Believe by the Celtic Woman takes me to different place that is not California. Listening to the music soothed my nerves and really helped me to just relax and enjoy the beautiful music. The voices on these four ladies are incrediable but more importantly the instruments they used to make the melodies really take you to a different time and place.....away from the busy city. Celtic Woman is the creation of the David Downes, musical director of the irish-themed production of RiverDance. Even though the names and faces of the group have changed over the years, the signature sound of the angelic voices have remained the same.
