Recipe: Pierogis To Die For (let the kids help too!)

My geek husband also happens to be a Polock and one of his favorite memories growing up was making Pierogis with his mom, aka YaYa. Soccer is Alright

There are many things I have done recently that I never thought I would actually enjoy. Some good examples would be eating blue cheese dressing or taking the dogs to a doggie birthday party at the dog park. It's true. I took my two little shih tzus to a friend's dog's birthday party. Geeking it up on the 4th

Last 4th of July, we made the trip up to San Francisco's Pier 39 for the fireworks. We had a good time and the display was awesome but it was windy and kind of chilly. This year we decided to host at our house and BBQ. We got a new blow-up pool, some water balloons and a few fireworks so the kids could enjoy the afternoon with their friends.

First Camping Trip

We had been toying with the idea of going camping for a while so when a good friend offered to let us tag along with them, we jumped at the chance. One great perk to living in northern California is that taking the kids out to experience the wilderness is only an hour from home.
