This is they day we found all the Halloween decorations. Luke is wearing the dog costume on his head and Sadie Bug put on a lady bug skirt and let me spray her hair pink. Fun times!

The kids and I went to have lunch with the hubs and while we were sitting outside of his office, Luke (4yrs) saw something that I thought was really cool! He said "Mommy, those letters make an arrow." I looked for a little while before I realized what he meant...then I took this pic.

The movie "Up" planted the idea in Luke's head that all he needed was a balloon or two and he could fly. He asked me if we could go get some balloons and when I realized why he wanted them, I explained that people don't fly and that it isn't safe to float up in the air by balloons. You know, the small issue that is "what goes up must come down" and that the fall would not be worth the ride!
Having family in town definitely changes up our routine. The kids never want to miss a minute of daylight and finally it caught up to Luke...in mid-bite as a matter of fact!
(I swear we did not plant that there!!)
