Choosing the Right Hotel for Your Family When Traveling to San Francisco

Traveling is one of the most rewarding experiences in life, whether you are looking for the sunshine and sandy beaches or want to experience new places and cultures, which you can find in San Francisco. When looking for a hotel, people usually consider location, price and services, but when you have children, traveling requires extra considerations. Whether you have a small baby or four bouncing four-year-olds, considering a child-friendly hotel can make your next vacation much easier. Choosing a child-friendly hotel requires a different mind frame than a pre-baby vacation, so here are the top three things to consider when choosing a hotel for your next family vacation:

Consider the Amenities

Check out the hotel's website or call to ask about amenities that will make your stay much easier. Child-friendly hotels will offer kid's…

If you own a home or a business, you need to do everything in your power to protect your investment. There are many criminals who will stop at nothing to steal the things that you have worked hard to earn. One of the best and most effective ways to make sure that your home and business have the protection they need 24/7 is to install a surveillance system. There are many different types of these systems available. However, they were all not created equal. Their prices and features can vary greatly, so you will need to investigate which one is ideally suited for you. Here is how you can go about buying the best surveillance equipment for your home or office.

Ask people who own surveillance systems

The most ideal place for you to start your search for a surveillance system is to talk to people who are using them right now. If you know someone who has the Antex xm100 installed in their home or office, ask…

Cookie bouquets

Posted by Sandra Gallegos on June 8, 2015 at 7:12am 0 Comments

There are many times throughout the year when it is appropriate to send a gift to family or friends. This includes birthdays and anniversaries as well as occasions that require a get well or sympathy gift. The numerous merchants selling edible gifts have made taking care of these occasions quick, easy, and affordable.

Types of Edible Gifts

When selecting an edible gift to send, there are many options to choose from. The most traditional would be a food basket. These decorative baskets are filled with foods that fit a specific theme such as food and wine, chocolate, or baked goods. Similar in style is the sampler box. Merchants use cardboard boxes decorated in designs to reflect the gift giving occasion and fill them with a sampling of their products.

Stores are now offering candy and Cookie bouquets that can be sent as gifts. These…

Turtle Invaders APP for Iphone or Android

Posted by Sandra Gallegos on October 9, 2014 at 11:19am 0 Comments

Times have changed from when we were growing up, now we are on the look out for apps that will keep our kids entertained for those 5 minutes we need to finish our dinner! I make it a point to make sure I have apps that are suitable for his age and will actually teach him something rather than just kill time.

Turtle Invaders is a cute little game that reminds me so much of PONG from when I was growing up. The game is set underwater where there are turtles who have decided to take over the underwater Aqua world and it is up to Octoremus (looks like an Octopus) to fight them off. He does this my inking the turtles that are floating back and forth from above him. As you move further into the levels more…

Can An “Angel Investor” Give Wings to Your Startup?

Posted by Sandra Gallegos on September 22, 2014 at 8:40pm 0 Comments

For many would-be entrepreneurs, finding the funds necessary to put their plans into action can be an uphill battle. Angel investors can help startups bridge the gap between great idea and practical application by trading investment capital for a stake in the new company. Entrepreneurs benefit through the acquisition of necessary funds during the critical early stages of their business enterprise. Angel investors also enjoy significant benefits, including increased profits and enhanced portfolio diversification. However, the risks of losing funds invested in this way are considerably higher than those associated with more traditional lending arrangements.

The term “angel investor” was coined during the early years of the 1900s and referred to the independently wealthy individuals who provided…

Posted by Sandra Gallegos on September 2, 2014 at 9:15am 0 Comments

Since I have been making sure my family eats healthier, I have been looking for ways to add tasty ingredients to our meals. This way I can ensure that we stick to our new way of eating if I make our dinners tasty. One easy way to do this is to add minced garlic, garlic gives any dish an extra kick of yummy flavor!

Mincing garlic into small enough pieces so that you don't bite into one when you eating is difficult for me with just a regular knife. So I love using a garlic press but have been difficult because they don't work properly. Loving My Kitchen has come out with a…

Mabel's Labels Will You Get You Ready For #BackToSchool (Enter to win your own set!)

Posted by Keri on August 24, 2014 at 9:00pm 0 Comments

I have to admit, our family enjoys getting ready for school to start again. While we do reflect and well up with emotion thinking about how fast they have grown, we are excited for a new chapter to begin with all kinds of adventures and experiences that my son (8) and daughter (6) will remember forever. My husband and I are very thankful we can privide what's needed for the kids to be successful and feel good about what the school year brings. Inevitably though (and I'm sure most parents can relate), we end up buying much more than just the list of supplies the teacher sends home. We fill the cart with new clothes, backpacks, shoes, waterbottles, lunch boxes and no matter how many sales we shop or coupons we use, this is no small expense. Add the excitement of reuinting with freinds, new classrooms and the shake up of our daily routine, it never…

I have been using the …
